2. How does your media product represent particular social groups?
My film represents male social groups as this is a film for a male audience as it contains violence and gore. Men are stereotypically like violence more than women as men enjoy violence and gore. This was a good idea as I as a man do not know what women want in films so I based the film off my own preferences and as I am male that is why my social group representation is male. I gave questionnaires to both males and females and males enjoyed it more than females which was a clear indication of who the film was for. I represented these social groups through the plot and actions they are rash and violent most of the time and a shot first think later attitude which is what males stereotypically wish to see. I have made neither a positive or negative representation o the social group as my film is fiction and for entertainment purposes.
